Gulfood Manufacturing: New fluid bed dryer from Imtech Ventilex

IMTECH Ventilex’s latest generation of  fluid bed dryers enables exact temperature and moisture control and minimises utility usage, resulting in better-quality products at high production rates yet low energy, production, and environmental costs.

The machine uses a low-frequency yet high-amplitude gentle shaking motion to transport the products, which ensure a uniform, step-by-step movement through the dryer referred to as plug flow. The shaking mechanism creates low g-forces that keep product deterioration minimal, if not negligible. It also results in low noise output and foundation requirements.

Imtech Ventilex has also enhanced the PLC software and controls of the drying process to make sure its fluid bed dryer delivers a total drying solution with the lowest energy consumption.
