The hair-cosmetic industry is getting ready for the world’s hair-dressing elite – with high-class product displays, the latest hair and fashion trends and spectacular shows. More than 120 companies have already registered for Hair and Beauty 2014 from 3 to 5 May, to make presentations concurrently with the OMC Hairworld World Cup. Key players Wella and L’Oréal Professionelle Produkte will each show their latest products and brands on 1,700 square metres of exhibition space. Large-scale brand presentations will also be made by Hans Conzen, Gieseke Cosmetics, Hair Haus, Jaguar, Paul Mitchell, Olymp, Tondeo and many others with products for the fields of Hair & Extensions, Salon & Tools, Make Up & Nails, Accessories & Fashion and Education & Career.
Hall 3.1 with the top brands of the sector is already fully booked up. “When around 65,000 hairdressers from all over the world come to Frankfurt am Main to see the world hairdressing championships, this represents a unique opportunity for companies to position themselves for these professionals with fascinating demonstrations, the latest collections and trends. We are looking forward to joining forces with top players to organise a gigantic show”, says Hair and Beauty Director Binu Thomas. The high-grade trade fair will not only offer a complete overview of the market for exclusive hairdresser products, salon furnishings and services but also generate great inspiration via workshops, shows and specialist information. Moreover, thanks to the world hairdressing championships of Organisation Mondiale Coiffure and the Central Association of the German Hairdressing Trade (Zentralverband des Deutschen Friseurhandwerks - ZV), trade visitors will experience a top-class international event.
“2014 will be a very special year for the hairdressing sector. We are delighted that, following Berlin in 2000, the world championships are being held again in Germany. And we are proud to be one of the first market leaders to have decided to support this mega event with our division, brands and experts”, says Kerstin Lehmann, L’Oréal Professionelle Produkte. “We consider that Hairworld represents a great opportunity to inspire the sector and every individual hairdresser on these three days, to provide business-development ideas and to offer insights into innovations and the latest trends. Even at this early stage, we invite everyone to visit our stand and discover our professional brand world.”
Alexander Herzberg, Hairdressers’ Service Director, Wella Germany, Austria, Switzerland, also offers a highly promising outlook of the Wella presentation in 2014: “Visitors to the Wella stand at Hairworld will be able to discover our complete portfolio of brands: Wella Color, Care and Styling, System Professional, Nioxin, Sebastian Sassoon and Londa. The brand presentations will be highly interactive and communicative. Besides communication, visitors primarily expect inspiration for the market leader. Therefore, we will offer a non-stop show and workshop programme. Additionally, Hairworld will be the setting for the presentation of the International Wella Trend Vision Awards.”
