STUTENSEE, Germany -- Packaging machine manufacturer Oystar Group said it continues to expand its business in Asian markets, including in India. The site in Pune, India, operated by Hassia Packaging Pvt. Ltd. – the Group’s 100% subsidiary India has been upgraded and 30 additional employees have been added.
Thanks to a steadily growing order situation, Hassia has doubled its capacities to what is now a 4,033 m2 large surface used for production and administration. The site in Pune is now capable of building 20 machines per month.
Sales have increased by 45% in this past year alone. As part of this growth, 30 additional employees have been hired for a total of 100 staff.
Hassia manufactures packaging machines for the food and chemical industries. This includes FS machines for filling and sealing preformed cups as well as machines with volume and weight filling systems for placing products into pouches, glass, cups and cans. The filling amounts range between 25g and 50kg. Customers primarily consist of international big corporations as well as small and medium-sized companies that manufacture their products in emerging markets.
