HI-MORE launched robotic arm driven by high-speed motor at TaipeiPlas

At this year’s TaipeiPlas, HI-MORE presented its new high-speed server, a robotic arm driven by high speed motor. This product was designed in order to keep up with the trend “on-server” currently popular in the global market.  

The company manufactures plastic industrial robots, including rotary, horizontal-travel, balance type and vertical-travel. The company has made a good income this year despite the sluggish global market. “We produce machines of a high performance-to-price ratio. We have customers from China, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. We are also an OEM of manufacturers from the States and France,” Ji Cun Chen, President of the company says. 

“The Taiwan government should have more support for the industry, such as encouraging part suppliers to have their own brands and working with other Taiwan machinery suppliers to form a closer and more effective product development. Therefore, Taiwan manufacturers can become more competitive in the global market. Recently, due to the rise of Japan currency, the cost of imported parts increases. Besides, many buyers still consider that the quality of Taiwan products is similar to those made in China.” Hi-MORE cooperates with Japanese manufacturers in order to upgrade its product quality. Chen hopes that the cooperation will help make its product quality far better than China.
