High-gloss surfaces in one process cycle

KraussMaffei's ColorForm process is set to revolutionise the production of parts with high-gloss surfaces. ColorForm is a world first. It can completely replace conventional painting, including pre- and post-paint work processes. ColorForm integrates injection moulding and a reaction moulding process. For the first time, processors can produce multicomponent parts with premium high-gloss surfaces in a fully automated single-stage process. The high-gloss, polyurethane system used to coat the thermoplastic substrate is supplied at high-pressure by a RimStar Nano metering system operating with newly developed KraussMaffei pumps. The latest Krauss Maffei mixing head technology, with high-spec wear protection, can be relied on to apply the paint system with very high precision over long production runs.
