HONG KONG -- More than 1,400 exhibitors from all over the world are expected to take in three Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) fairs this month.
The HKTDC Food Expo, the HKTDC Hong Kong International Tea Fair and the International Conference & Exhibition of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (ICMCM) will open 16 August at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Food Fair Record
The 23rd edition of Food Expo (16-20 August) will host more than 1,000 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions, a new fair record. They include first-time participants from France, Greece and Lithuania. Japan, the fair’s first Partner Country, will organise the largest-ever pavilion, featuring more than 220 exhibitors. Special events such as a cocktail reception, gala dinner, cooking demonstrations, sake seminars and Japanese food presentations will promote Japan’s food trade and encourage cultural exchanges between the country and Hong Kong. Apart from Japan, there will be pavilions representingBrunei, the Chinese mainland, Iran, Korea, Mexico, the Philippines and the United States.
