HRSflow sees growing market in Asia

In recent years, the Asian market has expanded rapidly. In 2012, the production of hot runner systems for the automotive sector registered a growth of more than 25 percentage points. In fact many Italian companies have had to face the increasing development of Eastern competitors. Being located where the customers are present and giving them a prompt response are key factors for business success.

For this reason, HRSflow has been present in the Asian market since 2006 through its engineering and commercial branches. Recognising the Asian market potential, HRSflow opened a production plant in Hangzhou, China in 2009. The plant is dedicated to mould and hot runner design and manufacture for that region, as it puts into practice the concept of glocalization: global presence and local management.

The company, now operating in nearly 40 countries around the world, has kept this decision to stay close and to give prompt response to its customers. The Italian company is therefore addressing the challenge of the Asian market by replicating in China the same Italian technical and quality standards in order to provide prompt feedback and efficient on-site services to its customers.

INglass-HRSFlow in Hangzhou has virtually doubled the systems, technologies and methods of the Italian production, to reproduce the same results in the field of hot runner systems for all sectors, but mainly the automotive industry. The Hangzhou production facility has been equipped with the same machineries (new equipment, but same brand and model) as in Italy. The same procedures have been applied and followed. The product quality is the same as the Italian standard, and as both have achieved for both production sites the UNI EN ISO 9001 certificate. The staff have been trained in order to be able to work in the same way and with shared procedures and outputs both in Italy and China.  The Chinese plant was made possible through the investment up to today of 10 million Euros and it has the same headquarter’ concept.

The Asian office is specialized in the production, research and development of advanced technologies in the field of mold and hot runner systems and it allows INglass-HRSflow to meet the demand for technologically advanced products in plastics processing from this important market.  and, likewise, the main Asian markets such as Japan, Korea, India and Taiwan, developing products designed specifically for the customers’ needs.
