Hypertherm debuts HyAccess in APAC

PLASMA, laser, and waterjet cutting systems manufacturer, Hypertherm, will launch the patented HyAcces extended consumables for the Powermax30, Powermax30 XP, and Powermax45 plasma systems. HyAccess extended consumables are three inches longer than standard models, and provide greater visibility and accessibility when cutting or gouging in confined spaces or hard-to-reach areas.

Hypertherm will launch the HyAccess to the Asia Pacific markets at the Manufacturing Indonesia 2014, which will be held from December 3 to 6 in Jakarta. The company’s booth at A-3417 will hold live demonstrations of the product besides displaying a wide range of torches and consumables. 

A daily plasma cutting contest will be held during Manufacturing Indonesia to provide visitors and buyers a first-hand experience with its handheld air plasma systems.

The HyAccess targets metal workers specializing in equipment and vehicle repair, structural work, and jobs requiring angular cutting or gouging. It eliminates the need for certain secondary operations or multiple cutting passes. 

The extended consumables may be packaged individually or as part of an all-in-one kit. The latter includes two electrodes, one nozzle for cutting and another one for gouging, a retaining cap, and a swirl ring. The products are available from authorized Powermax distributors.
