Hypertherm to demo advanced thermal cutting solutions

Powermax30^® AIR

The newest addition to Hypertherm’s Powermax family of air plasma cutting systems, Powermax30^® AIR is the world’s best in class portable air plasma system that features an internal compressor. With its built-in compressor and the ability to operate on both 120- and 240-volt lines, the Powermax30 AIR is a highly versatile system that enables metal cutting on-the-go

Weighing only 13.5 kg, the Powermax30 AIR provides 30 amps of output and has the highest power-to-weight ratio of any system in its class. Benefits of this system include high portability with the addition of a patent-pending internal air compressor that eliminates the need for an external compressor unit; greater versatility and convenience with a ‘Plug-and-Use’ model that allows the system to be used anywhere with just an electrical power point, even in remote and non-industrial environments; and cost reduction with the elimination of additional costs associated with the use of an external compressor.

HyAccess^TM

A proprietary design for handheld plasma cutting,HyAccess offers greater access to constrained areas with its extended reach and improves end users’ ability to cut accurately in hard to reach tight spaces. With capabilities in both cutting and gouging, HyAccess provides added versatility, allowing end users to perform a greater variety of functions, all with the same torch.

The improved visibility and access achieved with HyAccess eliminates the need for certain secondary operations or multiple cutting passes. HyAccess is compatible with all systems under Hypertherm’s Powermax range.

Hands-on Cutting Demonstrations

At the show, interested visitors will also have the opportunity to witness the capabilities and superb cut quality of Hypertherm’s air plasma systems through on-site cutting demonstrations. And for the first time ever, apart from handheld manual cutting, Hypertherm will be showcasing its mechanized solutions with live cutting at the booth. Visitors will get to experience first-hand the efficiency and ease of use of Hypertherm’s air plasma systems during the hourly demonstrations.
