i2i Eventsm launches CWIEME in Shanghai

Organised in co-operation with CCPITECC (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Electronics and Information Industry Sub Council), who are global partners of i2i, this launch follows i2i’s acquisition of the CWIEME portfolio in September 2012. It is also part of a wider strategy to deliver high quality events to key areas of growth and is the latest addition in a fast expanding portfolio which now includes Berlin, Bangalore and Chicago. China is already recognised as the world’s largest manufacturing centre and the Asian market, driven by China, represents the largest market for electric motors and transformers, and is projected to grow to $26bn by 2016.

Feedback to the launch of the event and the Shanghai location has been very positive, with two thirds of the space already reserved."
