IAC 2014: Ametek PMC promotes motors, blowers & pumps

The US-based company is a world leader in motors, blowers, and pumps for mass transit, medical, business machine, industrial automation, solar, and computer applications.

Ametek PMC likewise supplies regenerative blowers for pressure and vacuum applications. It also offers the Rotron and Nautilair brands.

The company’s manufacturing facilities in Shanghai, Taicang, and Changzhou help meet the requirements of its Chinese customers. An R&D center in the Taicang plant was inaugurated last year. Measuring 200 square meters, the center handles product development, localization, and qualification of linear and rotary drives for the entire division. It is equipped with 50mNM to 200NM dynamometers for drive performance testing of miniature and large gear motors. Engineers use its noise spectrum analyzer, magnet property tester, and environmental testing room to test all Dunkermotoren and PMC drives.
