IADSA holds Codex workshops in New Delhi

THE International Alliance of Dietary/Food Supplements Associations (IADSA) is holding a series of expert workshops on the critical process in implementing Codex Alimentarius standards and guidelines in food supplements. The first meeting held in 10 July, outlined Codex standards relating to the food supplement, nutraceutical and functional food areas. It was co-organised by India’s food supplement trade association, Health Foods and Dietary Supplements Association (HADSA).

The workshops aim to help decision-makers involved in the development of national regulation in the food and health sectors to have a better grasp of how these interrelate and how regulators across the world have interpreted and used Codex to guide the development of national and regional laws.
