IHOP comes to Bahrain

A MULTI-FRANCHISE agreement between DineEquity, Inc. (NYSE: DIN) and M.H. Alshaya Co. allows for the development of 40 restaurants in the Middle East and Africa.  Earlier in March, the US company inaugurated an IHOP restaurant in Bahrain City Centre. This is the first in the country and the sixth in the Middle East where DineEquity has outlets in Dubai, Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The companies have already identified their next locations in Lebanon, Qatar, Oman and Egypt.

Based in Glendale, California, DineEquity, Inc., through its subsidiaries, franchises and operates restaurants under the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar? and IHOP brands.
