IMCD acquires specialty plastics distributor in Singapore

IMCD Group B.V. has acquired Singapore-based Paceco Industrial Supplies Pte. Ltd., a reputable distributor for engineering and speciaity plastics. Established in 1985, the company is active in Singapore, China and Malaysia and currently employs 28 staff who will all transfer to IMCD. Mr. George Chong, one of the company’s two founders, will remain the Managing Director. IMCD’s latest acquisition demonstrates the importance of China and Southwast Asia in its growth and development strategy. With stock in Singapore, Malaysia and China as well as a goal to provide the best standard of service to the plastics industry in China and Southeast Asia, Paceco represents some of the most highly regarded producers in this region.
