Impressive all-rounders

The standard range of the universal solid carbide end mill PROTOSTAR COMPACT from PROTOTYP has just been extended to include a variant with a cutting edge length of 2xd1 and also an uncoated variant. The product range now comprises one three-edged, one four-edged, a short (l2=1xd1) and a long (l2=2xd1) version. The tools are available uncoated or with a wear-proof TiAlN coating. The titanium aluminium nitride ensures a high degree of hardness and good resistance to oxidization, making the coated PROTOSTAR COMPACT suitable for use under tough conditions.
