In recent years, the manufacturing industry around the globe has faced increasing competition and diversified client needs. Distinctive customized products have become the mainstream market trend; however, production for small and diversified quantities involves many complex and uncertain variables. With a focus on intelligent manufacturing, the forum is tailored to address these needs by examining the challenges of integrating intelligence into manufacturing.

They will cover extensive topics on intelligent manufacturing technologies, such as Industry 4.0, remote connection of multi-controller, smart machine tools as well as intelligent enhancement system.
Taiwan has grown rapidly in a number of high-tech segments, including IC, IT, communications and opto-electronics. Highly responsive to global developments, the Taiwanese machine tool industry has quickly adjusted to the needs of high-tech industries by offering customized tools such as molds and aluminum/magnesium alloy cutters. The area also boasts of highly-educated talent as well as long-accumulated experiences and capabilities in manufacturing, which will serve as catalysts for further growth.
