India hosts two shows under one roof

THE LATEST solutions in packaging, labelling, and processing for the food and beverage industries will be presented at drinktechnology India and International PackTech India. These shows are scheduled from 25-27 September at the Bombay Exhibition & Convention Centre in Mumbai.

More companies are expanding their businesses in India as reflective of the increasing number of exhibitors attending these fairs every two years. Organisers Messe Düsseldorf for the International PackTech, and Messe München International for the drink technology are expecting more than 260 exhibitors, and no less than 8,500 trade visitors in attendance. Companies who wish to exhibit may still register online, and those who require assistance in their move into the India market, may contact the organisers as well.

Conferences and exhibitor forums

Preparations for the supporting programme are well under way. The International PackTech India conference, “Processing and Packaging: Newer Concepts & Technology Update” was organised by the IPMMI - Institute of Packaging Machinery Manufacturers of India and the IFCA - Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers Association with support from Messe Düsseldorf and Messe Düsseldorf India Pvt Ltd.

Exhibitor forums and presentations on food and beverage are part of the agenda as well. For the first time, drink technology India will feature Round Table Talks where manufacturers from the beverage and food segments will present case studies and discuss their outlook for India's food and beverage industry toward 2020.
