THE Arab & India Spices LLC (AIS) has opened a new production plant in the UAE. The Indian-owned business reportedly invested 95.2 million in the high-tech facility in Ajman, according to FoodDubai.com.
The company with its added production expects a turnover of 272 million this year. It specializes in pulses and ground spices in the Gulf area, and accounts for the largest imports of lentils, rice and spices from various international locations, with tonnes imported into the GCC every year.
AIS is one of the oldest and largest suppliers of pulses and spices in the Gulf to date, starting from 400 square feet to 400,000 square feet today.
