Indian Plastic Federation to set up knowledge centre

Indian Plastic Federation (IPF) is setting up a knowledge centre at Sankrail near Kolkata. To cost around Rs 25 crores, the project will be implemented in several phases with over one lakh sq. ft. area of construction. This was announced by Mr. Amar Seth, who serves as Chairman of Indplas'12 exhibition organising committee and IPF Knowledge Centre. According to Mr. Seth, the knowledge centre is located in a poly park in Sankrail near Kolkata. It will be named 'IPF Knowledge Centre' (IPF - KC) and will serve as a training centre and cater to all processing sectors of polymers with its own testing laboratory, library, hostel, alternate energy section and a plastic scrap re-processing demonstration plant.
