The demand for high quality food packaging such as BOPA (biaxially oriented polyamide) film continues to grow in Southeast Asia. In May 2018, Brückner said it has secured a new order for its film manufacturing technology from Indonesia. The 6.6m LISIM line is the second of its kind in Indonesia and the third in Southeast Asia.
Made tough
BOPA film with its excellent gas, fat and aroma barrier, exceptional mechanical strength, as well as its high resistance to impact, puncture and pinholing, is ideal for tough packaging demands. It is among the preferred materials for packing ham and sausage, rice and grain, frozen and liquid foods or for vacuum packing.
BOPA films produced on Brückner simultaneous lines (LISIM) convince through optimised finishing characteristics such as high dimensional stability, good convertibility and printability as well as unreached shrinkage properties.
