Indonesia's manufacturing sector remains buoyant

With the world economy showing signs of an upturn and Indonesia's robust domestic market, surging ahead, demand for space at Indonesia's largest Machinery Trade Exhibition, Manufacturing Indonesia 2009 is at an all time high. The 20th International Manufacturing Machinery, Equipment, Materials, and Services Exhibitions (Manufacturing Indonesia and Machine Tool Indonesia 2009) will be held on 2-5 December 2009 at Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. "This year for the first time we are delighted to welcome over one hundred companies from India under the auspices of the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India," said, Maysia Stephannie, Project Manager of PT Pamerindo Buana Abadi, organizer of Manufacturing Indonesia. "The Indian Government will be organizing INDEE, the Indian Engineering Exhibition alongside Manufacturing Indonesia." As with previous year's Machine Tool Indonesia will be the biggest component of the show, encompassing over 9000sqm of exhibition space in Hall A. Major market leaders and leading Indonesian distributors including First Machinery, Ficep, Gasparini Mitutoyo, Mori Seiki, Multi Mayaka, Trumpf and Yakin Maju will exhibit alongside national/regional groups from China, Germany, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. Also for the first time, the Taiwan Machinery Builders Association will be bringing a large number of their members alongside Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI). Over 200 companies from Taiwan are expected to showcase the latest machinery equipment. Hall D will feature products for Industrial Automation, Vehicle Manufacturing, as well as mainstream manufacturing. Altama Surya Arsa, Autonics, Deutz Power, Festo, GE Jenbacher, SLS Bearindo and Yontomo will all be showcasing products to enhance the productivity and efficiency of Indonesia's Manufacturing sector. A high level conference and a large number of individual exhibitor seminars will be held in conjunction with the exhibition.(finished)
