Indorama acquires SK Chemicals plants

Indorama Ventures Plc., Thailand's largest producer of chemicals for plastic bottles and polyester, completed its acquisition of the PET and polyester assets of South Korean-based SK Chemicals in western Java. The assets include a 400,000-sq.m. facility in Tangerang, Banten, which produces PET resin and polyester filament yarns and a 40,840-sq.m. facility in Karawang, West Java, which makes polyester filament yarn. Indorama Ventures CEO Aloka Lohia said the acquisition will enable the company to meet the growing demand for yarns and fibres in Indonesia.NIKE AIR FORCE
