Industry experts speak of sustainable development at CIMT

CIMT has opened its doors today at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. The event, which will run until April 27, has welcomed over 1,500 machine tool companies, including the top 100 in the world from 28 countries and regions. The exhibitors has brought to the show thousands of state-of-the art CNC machine tools, tens of thousands of related exhibits, and the latest development in the global machine tool manufacturing industry. 

The exhibition features five highlights:

* Latest development in the manufacturing technology and application of production lines

Production lines to be brought to this year’s exhibition have advanced in all aspects from the integration of process, logistics, and information flow to the control of tact time, and from Capability Index of Process (CPK) to reliability.

Leading players have launched several new products, such as the production line of car gears by Chongqing Machine Tool Group Co. Ltd, shaving production line by Zhejiang Laolunsi Machine Tool Co. Ltd, as well as the auto brake disc production lines by Beijing No. 1 Machine Tool Plant and SANY Group.

* Advances in machining centers

Over 160 machining centers and 90 compound machine tools, including 90 five-axis ones will be displayed in the show. Machining tools have developed towards complicated functions, as well as high speed and high level of precision.
