Industry giants power up at PTC Asia 2012

Among the 7 halls, E1, E2 and E3 will concentrate on mechanical power transmission and compressed air technology, while the sector of fluid power transmission will be staged at halls from E4 to E7. The event will be jointly organized by China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association, China General Machine Components Industry Association, Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd.

Since the preparatory stage by the beginning of this year, PTC ASIA 2012 has been supported by many industrial leading enterprises, and more and more of them have come to recognize the influential power of the event and go all out to take part in. “Each year, there are part of enterprises that fail to be on spot, because PTC ASIA has always been overloaded,” says James Fu, General Manager of Hannover Milano Fairs China Ltd. As of this year, industry giants like SIMENS, Bosch Rexroth, ABB, and FESTO will all come to meet buyers face to face and display the world’s leading PTC ideas and products of electronic propulsion and control, linear transport and control, as well as industrial hydraulic equipments, pneumatic equipments, and gearboxes.

Five years since its last showcase in PTC ASIA, FESTO, the leading world-wide supplier of automation technology, will make a powerful return, with its independently developed high-end bionic product “Smart Bird” to be demonstrated on its 190-square-meter large booth. Having made its debut at HANNOVER MESSE in April, Smart Bird is now hurrying to Shanghai. According to FESTO’s technical staff, Smart Bird uses as less building materials as possible and is therefore extremely lightweight and energy-efficient, and such bionic plan is designed to meet the automation target for the future — maximum performance with minimum energy consumption.
