Ingredion launches in Asia Pacific

Shanghai — The Ingredion group of companies, one of the world’s leading ingredient solutions providers, is launching its brand in Asia Pacific at Food Ingredients China 2013 (FIC 2013) from 26-28 March 2013, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre.

Ingredion is the combination of two established food ingredient brands — National Starch and Corn Products International — and the new name better reflects the value-added ingredients that it supplies, as well as the broad markets that it serves.

At FIC 2013,Ingredion focuses on three main themes — clean labels, texture solutions, and health & wellness — to emphasise its core capabilities to visitors at the show.

Clean labels

As the clean label trend develops in Asia, Ingredion will help manufacturers navigate this space from understanding consumer insight to recipe formulation and product trials.

Texture solutions

Manufacturers can perfect the texture of their foods to suit consumers’ preferences with innovative ingredients and expert guidance from Ingredion, leveraging world-class capability in rheology and sensory.

Health & wellness

With nutritional and functional ingredients from Ingredion, manufacturers can reach consumers who have specific nutrition needs and a desire for healthy, good tasting foods.

The on-stand experience promises to be engaging, with dynamic displays, prototype tasting and live demonstrations throughout the 3-day show.
