Ingredion names chief innovation officer

INGREDION Incorporated has appointed Tony DeLio to senior vice president and chief innovation officer effective 6 January 2014. He leads the company’s global marketing, innovation and business development, and will be an officer of the company. Previously he was vice president of global innovation.

Mr DeLio joined National Starch in 2006 as vice president and general manager, North America, and then served as vice president of global marketing and innovation. He has held executive positions in marketing, R&D and general management at Archer Daniels Midland Company and Mars, Inc. He also served as associate vice chancellor for research at the University of Illinois.
