Coty Prestige has announced a unique partnership with Hearst on a first-to-market sampling opportunity, featuring Marc Jacobs Daisy/Eau So Fresh.
It will be launched across multiple Hearst publications, including Cosmo, ELLE, Marie Claire and Seventeen. Poly-bagged with the November issues, this innovative premium pod insert is said to be the first of its kind in the U.S.
Instead of oil on the strip onsert, this pod sampling has a spritzer and contains real fragrance inside. There will be two sample sprayers inside a vertical tube attached to the onsert.
Fragrance Marketing, Inc. produced the samples. According to Mark Husman, CEO of the company, the premiere pod offers the reader an alternative to trying the perfume at the fragrance counter. It provides the highest level of sampling engagement at the lowest cost of acquisition to trial.
As a Daisy-fresh scent will coming soon to newsstands and mailboxes, the man behind the brand, fashion designer Marc Jacobs is reported to step down as creative director of Louis Vuitton, in order to focus on IPO for the Marc Jacobs brand. The designer has collaborated with Sephora to launch a 122-SKU collection this September.
