Innovative process control and cooling systems from Frigel at CHINAPLAS 2016

At CHINAPLAS 2016, Frigel's booth will present to Asian market the many benefits of the company's process control and cooling systems.  The company is set to demonstrate the Microgel water chiller and the innovative 3PR Real-Time Cooling System Control.  

 

The Microgel line offers a unique, space-saving approach that directly addresses the needs of plastics molders. This compact, portable temperature control unit (TCU)/chiller combination (with a dual-zone option) maintains precise, microprocessor-controlled temperature of molding machines. With its compact, portable and precise cooling features, Microgel can save up to 60% of energy cost compared to central chillers, and prevents scrap with repeatable, precise, machine-side temperature control and optimal pressure and flow for efficient, turbulent heat transfer. The product also guarantees reduced equipment footprint with as the multifaceted units take up about 1/3 the space compared to using separate portable chillers and temperature control units.

 

 

Frigel is also showcasing its innovative 3PR Real-Time Cooling System Control which provides optimal cooling system performance with revolutionary technology – customized based on the customer's needs. For the first time ever, it is now possible to get a complete overview of the entire Ecodry and/or Heavygel central chiller system in real time. Offering full operating schematics that monitor pressures, temperatures, coolant levels, and reactive system and pump performance, 3PR allows operator to make adjustments. It also takes the guesswork out of troubleshooting and speed up service time with quick, accurate, real-time information. With intuitive controls and commands, including alarms and fault indicators, issues can be identified before they become widespread problems.
