Interfit tire service launched in Australia, New Zealand

Trelleborg Wheel Systems has rebranded Solid Service, its Australian industrial tire service business, into Interfit to bring it in line with the Trelleborg’s other tire services  around the world.

Paul Hansen, Managing Director of Interfit Australia, said that the move is an exciting development for the company's operations in Australia and New Zealand, and great news for itscustomers. The Interfit brand is well known and respected as a key business partner for the global materials handling industry.  

Established in 1987, Solid Service employs 68 staff and has a national network throughout Australia with branches in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Townsville, Adelaide and Perth, as well as in Auckland, New Zealand. All branches are fully equipped with both mobile and workshop pressing services.

Following the launch of new operations in the U.S. in 2014 and in Indonesia in early 2015, Interfit offers replacement industrial tire fitting services on four continents. Built on a foundation of “Service Excellence”, Interfit specializes in onsite service delivery using both mobile press trucks and exchange wheel programs.
