International buyers seen at TIMTOS

I am always looking to see if there is something I have not seen before that is why I came to see all the booths here. I’m looking for things that are maybe in our market there are not too many people who are selling the same kind of thing because in the machine tool industry there are many people who sells CNC machines in various types. So for us we don’t want to be just the same as everybody else. I always try and find something with a little bit different that my customers might be looking for that they don’t realize they are looking for that. I try to find that type of equipment and go back to my territory and advertise it and hopefully expand the types of machines that people buy. I’m always in touch with my customers. They are always inquiring about different types of machines that they need. Especially if I have the chance to go to a show like this I write myself a list of the types of things they want and then I go the show and see if I can find it. In my territory, customers are particular about the prices. In Western Canada, our customers are a lot more particular about the price of the machines. – David M. This is not the first time we visit TIMTOS. We came here to see a couple of suppliers and see if something is interesting to be imported to Spain. We just arrived this morning and had a quick look. We find many new and remarkable machines. It seems that Taiwan machineries are one-step ahead. I came here to buy machines and to deliver the machines. For this show you cannot only come and go. You must have contacts. I have downsized the list and have not contacted enough. We are here at the show to see the new machines being offered by Taiwan manufacturers. We are a manufacturer of spare parts and machines. I hope that I can find a machine that I can buy here and tools for our existing clients. People in our country have told me about this show that’s why I came here and check if I can find something. I found 5-axis vertical machines and they are interesting for me and also some lasers. I will be staying all six days. Today is the first day and it is still a short time to decide.
