interpack 2014: Lanico presents all-stainless can seamers

CAN seaming machinery specialist LANICO will present a range of all-stainless steel can seaming machines at interpack 2014, which reflect the vast experience the company has gained from having manufactured and supplied over 100,000 seaming machines for dry, fluid and pasty products.

Visitors to booth A41 in Hall 11 will be able to see these efficient equipment in operation and how they meet a wide range of customer requirements, including two highly efficient semi-automatic can seamers:

V 10 ECO This stainless and splash-proof semi-automatic can seaming machine offers excellent value for money. As an entry-level model, the machine is ideally suited for wet and dry operation for example in craft businesses, for small industrial production as well as laboratory applications. It features a working range from 26- to 120-mm height and from 73- to 113-mm diameter. Two seaming rollers perform an airtight double seam, so that up to 600 cans per hour can be reliably seamed. Can height adjustments are carried out automatically whereas diameter changes are also completed within a short period of time using the special pre-set lever systems. For easy and quick format changes, the seaming rollers are mounted and pre-set on a special lever system. The exchange of the seaming chuck and the base plate is completed in no time as well. An additional feature of the low-maintenance machine is its hygienic and ergonomic design. A roller carriage permits highly flexible usage within production.

V 110 PH This stainless can seaming machine is the right solution for butcher shop, laboratory and general canning applications. It proves its reliability both in wet and dry operation and reaches production speeds of up to 850 cans per hour. This model processes cans from 42- to 163-mm diameter.The adjustment system permits height changes in a range between 26- and 300-mm.Thanks to pre-set change parts, diameter changes can be carried out in a few minutes and with repeated precision. Additional features are the automatic seaming system by means of seaming rollers with heavy duty bearings and the height-independent pneumatic can clamping adjustment. By use of a roller carriage, the low-maintenance machine can be flexibly used within production.
