InterPlas Thailand: Chemical and Raw Materials Zone

“InterPlas Thailand 2013” will serve the high demands of raw materials in the plastics industry by organizing a “Chemical and Raw Materials Zone” for the first time in Thailand. This will be a gathering place where global suppliers of chemical and raw materials in plastics production such as Mitsubishi Chemical (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Pacific Color Co., Ltd. and many more will present a variety of materials for manufacturers to choose from.

Besides the materials presentation, the Center of Excellence on Petrochemical and Materials Technology (PETROMAT), established by the Science and Technology Postgraduate Education Research and Development Office (PERDO), which specializes in petrochemical and materials technologies, focusing on research that support and develop industries, will hold an “Innovation and Consultancy Center” to demonstrate High Performance and Smart Materials, produced from materials of the petrochemical industry. 

The materials are light and durable, and the production cost is inexpensive, which can be further developed and applied in the production of plastics such as raincoat, gloves, plastics food packaging, computer, auto-parts, and so on. Plus, PETROMAT team will provide knowledge and advice on research and materials application in the production process.
