InterPlas Thailand: Featured zones and other highlights

Under the umbrella trade exhibition, Manufacturing Expo 2014, of which InterPlas Thailand is a co-locating event, there are other three UFI-approved events: Automotive Manufacturing (for auto parts manufacturing), InterMold Thailand (for mould and die) and Assembly Technology (on industrial automation).

Manufacturing Expo this year has put up bigger scale, wider ranges of technologies, more insightful conferences and seminars, and more beneficial onsite activities to show the complete convergence of technology, know-how, network and products through value chain.

One featured pavilion is the “New Production Inspirations & Know-How” which inspires plastics manufacturers and introduces new materials and industry knowledge that will help industrialists increase productivity and product value. Another highlight is the Composites Feature Pavilion which will present the entire value chain of the composites industry, from raw materials to processing technology and application products.

The Chemical and Raw Materials Zone serves as a gathering place where global suppliers of chemical and raw materials in plastics production present a variety of materials for manufacturers to choose from. The zone is a unique venue where leading suppliers offer their high-performance materials for more efficient plastics production.

The Japan Plastic Technology is a special pavilion to promote exclusive Japanese Plastic Technology to specific target of Japanese visitors. Another important zone is the Taiwan Mould & Die Pavilion can meet with the mould and die makers of Taiwan and discuss possible business collaboration.

InterPlas 2014 also showcases business theaters and a variety of industrial conferences and learning platforms for business professionals. These include the Automotive Summit, the 3rd Engineer Master Class, the Surface & Coatings Forum, the Plastics Forum, the Automation Conference, Cross Cultural Management, and the AEC Subcontracting Forum. Participants can have the opportunity to increase sales, gain insight into the newest manufacturing trends, expand their global presence and promote new technologies in a stimulating business environment.

Another relevant service is the “Innovation & Consultancy Centre,” which brings professional advices from experts from PETROMAT and the Plastic Institute of Thailand. Visitors can also learn new knowledge from the conferences organised by the Plastic Institute of Thailand in collaboration with PTT, SCG & IRPC.
