InterPlas Thailand opens today

InterPlas Thailand, part of Thailand's biggest show - Manufacturing Expo - opens today at BITEC, Bangkok. The show presents the latest technologies from 370 leading brands to over 50,000 buyers from across ASEAN, to help plastics processors and other industrialists upgrade their production line and enhance the quality of their products.

Overall, Manufacturing Expo gathers more than 1,500 exhibitors this year with all its co-locating exhibits expected to attract a huge number of visitors to surpass previous editions. Over the years, this industrial event has been the main gateway to the huge ASEAN market with exhibitors eager to present their latest technologies, material solutions and support services across various industries.

For those engaged in plastics manufacturing, a special pavilion, “Composites Thailand 2013”, presents the entire value chain of the composites industry, from raw materials to processing technology and application products: Fibres, Resins and Additives & Modifiers, Fillers, SMC, BMC, GMT, Granulates, Profiles, Tube, Pultrusion, Rolling, parts and components for the downstream markets covering Automotive, Aircraft/aerospace, Shipbuilding, Construction, Electronics, Corrosion-resistant Applications, Sports & Recreation.

The opening ceremony was lead by H.E. Dr. Plodprassop Suraswadi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, with Mr Chainarong Limpkittisin, Managing Director Reed Tradex Co. Ltd, Mr. Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, President Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, and other representatives from various associations.
