
InterPlas Thailand opens its 20th edition on 21-24 June 2012 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand, with the latest technologies from 370 leading exhibitors. The show combines the strength and potential of five major manufacturing industries, which will be witnessed by over 38,000 buyers from ASEAN, to elevate sustainable growth for all participants. Moreover, the show will also house a vast variety of industrial conferences on newest know-how and business inducing activities to further expand more benefits to all participants. His Excellency Minister for Industry M.R. Pongsawat Sawatdiwat will preside over Manufacturing Expo Opening Ceremony and give a keynote "From Here to AEC: Sustaining Growth for Thai Manufacturing."
The show presents a wide variety of activities, industrial conferences and live demonstrations to ensure that visitors get the most from the various events. For instance, the first Asian appearance of NAO, the world-renowned humanoid robot from Europe with the most advanced technology of its kind, is a major attraction. With Thailand strengthening its composites industry as source of materials for automotive, construction, building decoration, and so on. Mr. Thapanick Kumnungwout, President of Thai Composites Association, brought members and composites manufacturers to exhibit the latest composites materials at "Composites Thailand 2012", Thailand's Only Exhibition on Composites Manufacturing Technologies and Raw Materials, a Featured Pavilion of InterPlas Thailand 2012. Mr. Thapanick revealed, “At Composites Thailand, there will be a showcase of composites materials that are used to substitute other materials. The highlight, this year, will be the composites materials for the construction industry.
We will present composites materials that can be substituted for steel and wood in doors and
windows productions because the shape of these composites will not be changed, damaged nor rust
because of water or heat. And the composites are lighter and more durable than other materials.

Under the umbrella event, Manufacturing Expo, there are five concurrent exhibitions. InterPlas Thailand is the plastic and rubber manufacturing machinery and technologies event with 370 leading exhibitors showcasing their products.
InterMold Thailand 2012, now on its 20th edition, serves as Thailand's only show for mould and die manufacturing.
