Interview with Ultimate Motion Technologies marketing exec

In a recent interview with INTERNATIONAL METALWORKING NEWS - MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA, Nabil H. Nais, Marketing Manager at Ultimate Motion Technologies shared his vision pertinent to the establishment of the company vis-a-vis regional and global landscapes and what customer orientation.

IMNE: Which products and services does Ultimate Motion Technologies deal in?

Nais: Ultimate Motion Technologies deals in a wide range of high-tech products. Our company is a specialised machinery system designer and builder, with expertise in CNC metal cutting machines and welding robot automated production systems. We offer an exceptional choice of products, which are manufactured as per European standards. We deliver solutions that are perfectly fitted to the actual customer demands and are future-proof with respect to machine extensions in size and additional technologies.

 

Our passion for developing outstanding products is proven through the stringent quality control measures implemented at various control stages. This guarantees a high standard of precision and reliability that is second to none. Our recent collaborations with major companies in the field (ABB and ESAB) make us the pioneers in Middle East market, in terms of customisation, design intelligence, and delivery of productive solutions.

 

IMNE: What is the company's unique selling proposition?

Nais: UMT is one of very few companies in UAE that manufactures CNC cutting machines, like water jet and plasma/oxy cutting machines. Our company is the only local company in UAE that deals with robot welding solutions and automations. Much of the company's supply is built to suit our customer's particular preferences, since we are specialised in developing new solutions to meet each challenge. Our technical department is proud of its highly qualified team with many years of collective experience and is directly involved, on a full-time basis, in machine design and development.

 

IMNE: How vast and connected is your network of stakeholders?

Nais: We serve the region of GCC countries mainly and we have many contacts and customers in Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi, Oman, Qatar, UAE, and Iran. We buy most of our high quality raw material from famous suppliers over the world, like ABB Sweden, Atlanta Germany, Toshiba Japan, Hypertherm & Victor USA and Hiwin Taiwan. UMT maintains the quality of its products by following extreme high quality standards, during production and also after sales services. Therefore we have optimistic expectations of growing in this field over the few next years. In collaboration with European, American, Japanese and Taiwanese companies, we are offering a variety of choices in quality products.

 

IMNE: What are the challenges and opportunities of the current steel and metalworking industry?

Nais: The demand for robotic solutions and automation solutions has increased dramatically over the last few years and we are receiving many inquiries and contacts following the last SteelFab show held in Sharjah, from many customers in GCC countries, as well as from Europe. The main challenge we are facing now isthat many customers require information about robots and at the same time they are strongly interested into changing their old production lines to make cost effective and competitive products. However, we do offer complete Robotic solutions and automation solutions at very competitive prices and can assist companies achieving their production goals. Our target as a Robotic integrator is to achieve an overturn of AED 10.000.000/- to AED 15.000.000/- during the current year, and we intend to expand our  activities in the same field to cover the high demand of the market in the years to come.

 

IMNE: What are the company's advantages vis-a-vis other firms?

Nais: Ultimate Motion Technologies has various positives but primary ones are: productivity - fast cutting speeds and high reliability to maximise potential; customisation - selection of power sources from standard basics to high definition series AND Adaptive Logic - solutions that are customised to user demands and are future-proof relevant to machine extensions.

 

IMNE: Which products are of specific mention to UMT?

Nais: UMT has recently proudly introduced the new Spider range. The dual function technology combines water jet and plasma cutting on the same structure, for accurate and productive cutting. The Spider 3000 x 6000 is a powerful, heavy duty machine, equipped with products from famous suppliers, and can cut almost all materials, from mild steel and stainless steel up to marble and stone. The machine uses a specific software that can mix technologies, providing accurate cutting on small holes by using the Water jet and productive cutting with the use of plasma at the same metal plate. The Tiger 1500 x 3000 is a CNC Plasma, oxy cutting and centre drill machine which is solid structured, reliable, heavy duty and guaranteed. Its characterised L shaped gantry opening is practical for easy loading and unloading.
