IPACK-IMA, a key player in the sector for the preparation, filling, and distribution of food and nonfood liquids, will host two important events highlighting liquid filling technology.
The Liquid Handling & Filling conference will be held on February 10 at the Napoleonic Hall of the University of Milan’s Palazzo Greppi. It will feature speakers from the research and product testing fields. There will also be representatives from various companies.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Food, Nutrition and Environment (DeFENS), which together with Ipack Ima S.p.A. helps AIDIC organize it.
During IPACK-IMA, which will run from May 20 to 21, the first edition of the LIFILL international conference will be held. This will allow researchers and professionals engaged in managing and distributing liquids to share knowledge and ideas to boost business and technologies.
These two major events--the first in preparation for the trade exhibition and the second within the context of IPACK-IMAand other jointly held exhibitions such as Dairytech, Meat-Tech, Fruit Innovation, Converflex, and Intralogistica Italia in conjunction with the EXPO 2015—underscore the value of the filling process. This process plays a key role in the manufacturing or packaging process, especially in the care of liquids. The technology involved in the preparation, filling, and distribution of liquids for both food and nonfood products is, therefore, valuable, particularly in handling the physical properties of chemical liquids and meeting the marketing requirements of finished products.
