Ishida Europe is a Danish Crown preferred supplier

ISHIDA Europe has attained preferred supplier status with The Danish Crown Group, a leading pork and beef producer and processor, with businesses that include Tulip, Plumrose and Sokolow.

Ishida has become an A Class supplier to the company following a series of equipment installations, including development of fast and hygienic packing lines for Tulip and Danish Crown.

With this status, the weighing and packaging specialist can bid for all relevant projects at all of Danish Crown’s plants. Ishida will also continue to offer the highest levels of technical expertise and service support for all installations.

The supplier agreement also provides a regularly twice-yearly forum where Ishida will update Danish Crown on its latest equipment innovations and technical developments to help meet changing industry requirements.

Ishida Europe’s director of business solutions Ulrich Nielsen said the preferred status confirms the company’s hard work and commitment to provide technologically-advanced packing lines backed up by comprehensive installation and service support.

“We have for many years had a strong relationship with Tulip and have remained focused on devising appropriate solutions that meet the company’s requirements. The preferred supplier agreement fully supports our long-term commitment,” Mr Nielsen said.
