Jabal Omar awards DSC-ACC JV US$720M deals

A joint venture between Saudi units of Arabian Construction Co (ACC) and Drake & Scull Construction (DSC) has been awarded construction contracts worth SR2.7 billion (US$720 million) by Jabal Omar Development.

According to the terms of the contract, the joint venture firm will build phase three of the Jabal Omar development in Makkah region, which will involve the construction of four hotel towers with a total built up area of 400,000 sq m. The towers will also include five-star and three-star hotels, DSC said.
