DEMONSTRATING its continued support for education and training in Switzerland, Josef Binkert AG supplied Colchester Triumph VS center lathes for the recent national championships Swiss Skills Berne.

The Swiss distributor of 600 UK machines provided several of the best-selling center lathes to enable talented apprentices to attain the best possible results in the competition. The company, backed by
Colchester and Harrison world-renowned training lathes, have pioneered engineering training throughout Switzerland for more than 50 years. This is manifested in their long-term support of WorldSkills competitions, including the Swiss Skills Berne held last September 17 to 21, 2014.
Josef Binkert AG has also provided the prestigious Swissmechanic Training Organization apprentice training school with several premium-quality Colchester Master VS 3250 variable-speed center lathes in order to replace and upgrade existing machinery.
