JUNKER demos non-cylindrical grinding machine at CIMT 2015

THE German manufacturer of precision grinding machines will be exhibiting its JUCAM 6L for non-cylindrical grinding at the trade show in hall W1, booth 710.

Non-circular grinding machines from the JUCAM line achieve impressively accurate results by grinding in one clamping set-up. With the pendulum grinding method and controls equipped with the Learning Function, which compensates for nearly every dimensional error, camshafts are ground to perfection. The JUCAM 6L is manufactured for grinding cams, bearings, ends, thrust bearing shoulders and camshaft adjustment elements in one clamping. The use of CBN grinding wheels permits both pre-grinding and precise finish-grinding. The machine is capable of grinding all cam lobe profiles and geometries at high-speed – from concave to elliptical. The maximum clamping length of the displayed JUCAM 6L is 2000 mm, the maximum swing diameter 320 mm.
