K2013: Latest evolution of special coating machines from BOBST

BOBST brought to K 2013 its expertise in flexible materials printing and converting.  The exhibit included the latest vacuum coating systems for clear barrier coating and pinhole detection in metallization for improving barrier properties and eliminating defects in packaging films and decorative applications.   Mr. Eric Pavone, Business Director, also provided an introduction on the company’s new solutions that were on display and these included the CI flexo printing that features automatic devices and systems for improved print quality, machine availability and operator’s ergonomics at job set up and changeovers.

Our latest machines are equipped with advanced operation system and are known for their ease of operations and speed,” Mr. Pavone explained.

For gravure printing technology, the new configuration Rotomec 4003MP press with shaftless cylinders boosts the options provided by the most successful Rotomec 4003 platform of gravure printing solutions.  The latest generation of the best selling F&K 20SIX platform of flexo printing solutions was also highlighted in the BOBST exhibit.
