Kerstin Horaczek is Development Project Director for the Messe Frankfurt Technology & Production Division

Messe Frankfurt has restructured its Technology & Production Division as part of its strategy to expand the company’s technical fairs into all relevant markets. The division is responsible for all events for building-services technology, investment goods and safety & security technology organised by Messe Frankfurt. In the new setup, Kerstin Horaczek assumes the role of development project director for the division, and is in charge of identifying and implementing technical fairs and event subjects worldwide. She reports directly to Iris Jeglitza-Moshage, senior vice president of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.

Among the key areas Ms Horaczek will handle are events concerning the environment, recycling and energy. This is in addition to Messe Frankfurt’s experience in this field handing events such as ISH and Light+Building, and its active participation in Canada (Canadian Waste & Recycling Expo), Hong Kong (Eco Expo Asia) and China (Water Expo China).Ms Horaczek has worked for the Messe Frankfurt Group since 2001, specifically with the Mergers & Acquisitions and Investment Management departments of the company. A graduate in business management, she has several years of experience in business development and is extremely well networked in the international trade-fair sector.
