Kliklok to demonstrate top load cartoning solutions at Gulfood Manufacturing

KLIKLOK International, a leading packaging equipment manufacturer, will present its top load cartoning equipment at Gulfood Manufacturing. The company will join KayDee Solutions on stand S1-A34 where it will showcase the capabilities of the ECT500 glue form carton erector and C1F carton closer, focusing on single flap, tuck-in cartons – a style popular among global tea producers.  

The ECT500 can handle carton tray designs from typical four-corner styles to complex and unusual shaped packages – all using a single flat carton blank. Its four-station rotary turret design provides carton feeding, glue application, carton forming and finished carton ‘strip off’ at progressive turret positions. Glue application is achieved using either a nozzle jet system or an open pot ‘dauber’ style approach, depending on the customer’s preference.

Visitors to the stand will see the ECT500 integrated with Kliklok’s C1F closer. This machine is a medium to high speed continuous motion automatic closer for hinge cover single flap cartons, where the cover tuck flap is inserted inside the front wall of the carton. Standard features include variable speed and easy size change with minimal change parts required over a wide range of carton sizes.

Live demonstrations at the show will be carried out using cartons currently used by AMS Baeshen & Co – one of the most enduring regional FMCG companies, most famous for its flagship ‘Rabea Tea’ brand. The company, based in Saudi Arabia, currently uses Kliklok’s top load cartoning equipment at its state of the art manufacturing facility in Jeddah to pack a wide range of speciality teas, which are available in over 14 markets regionally and worldwide.
