KMS names ILS commercial director for EMEA

MARTIN AWE has been named commercial director, Industrial & Life Sciences (ILS), for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for the Koch Membrane Systems KMS) division of Koch Chemical Technology Group Ltd.

Based in Aachen, Germany, Mr Awe will be responsible for continuing the growth of KMS’ ILS business while developing market expansion plans throughout the territories that constitute this key region. “Over the past several years, this territory has accounted for an ever increasing percentage of our global ILS business and a good portion of the profitability,” said John J. Morrison, senior vice president. “It is our intention to build upon this success with Martin’s leadership.”

Mr Awe has been with KMS since 1993 and has held various roles in the Food, Dairy and Beverage markets. Most recently, he was the KMS European business manager for Food & Life Sciences.  Previously, he held positions in research & development for Arla Foods in Denmark and business development for GEA Westfalia Separator in Germany. He holds a degree in Dairy Engineering.
