KNOWLEDGEshare Live to tackle beverage industry issues

BEVERAGE industry forum KNOWLEDGEshare Live will gather together decision-makers and key players from all parts of the industry chain to discuss the opportunities and issues faced by the industry. The two-day, by-invitation only forum will be held in Dubai from February 10 to 11.

 

The forum, which builds on the success of previous KNOWLEDGEshare Live events in Frankfurt, Germany in 2013 and in Sanya, China in 2014, comprises a digital community of senior industry players and thought leaders. It aims to pool the knowledge, experiences, opinions, and ideas on how the beverage industry can leverage opportunities and address challenges. It also hopes to provide a forum of mutual cooperation to enable an open discussion of the real issues being faced by the industry. 

 

Although beverage producers worldwide serve different countries and face different circumstances, many of these issues and challenges are quite similar. Beverage producers and bottlers alike, for instance, tackle the issues of product safety, national and international standards, technology advances, sustainability, and changing consumer requirements.

 

Forum host Sidel acknowledges the value of a collaborative, industry-wide approach in addressing issues as opposed to isolated, individual initiatives. High-level speakers, industry experts, and fellow invitees will share their insights and knowledge. Participants are expected to benefit from the dialogue, which will use a format different from traditional one-way communication adopted in conferences and exhibitions. All delegates will have the opportunity to participate and contribute to the dialogue actively. 

 

Experts can share their knowledge, insights, and opinions online before and after the event through blog.knowledgeshare.com. The online discussion is also open to everyone. 

 

According to Sidel president and CEO Mart Tiismann, KNOWLEDGEshare Live in Dubai 2015 provides a venue for players in the industry to gather together and discuss key issues in a collaborative way. 

 

“In the Greater Middle East and Africa producers are facing some core challenges shared by those in many other parts of the world.  These issues are too important to be tackled anywhere on an individual or local basis,” Mr. Tissmann added.
