Marcor Development Corp., a New Jersey-based distributor for more than 35 years of specialty chemicals and naturally derived ingredients for use in nutraceuticals, biologicals, pharmaceuticals and related applications, announced that it is being acquired by KODA Distribution Group (KDG), a leading US specialty chemical distributor.
Marcor will maintain its current management and staff, operating from its Carlstadt, NJ headquarters. Charles Garbarini, President, noted, “We welcome the opportunity to be the foundation of KDG's growth into these markets and look to offer our customers new, expanded product lines and capabilities.”
With the acquisition of Marcor, KDG plans to establish its Pharma / bionutrients business segment.
