KRAIBURG TPE is set to wow to trade visitors with its all new and innovative automotive TPE compounds at its booth 11.2 T31. With the new product, the quest for highly durable, all weathering and superior resiliency automotive TPEs is nearly at an end with Kraiburg TPE setting new defining standards for diverse automotive TPE applications.
The special features of the compound for window encapsulation will also be stressed. Evolving automotive market demands window encapsulation compounds to have such characteristics as resistance to sink marks, glass breakage, uniform gloss finishing all over the part surface, colour matchability, UV and detergent resistance with excellent mechanical properties and more.

KRAIBURG TPE's new automotive compounds have very high flowability, excellent UV resistance, no noise caused by friction, lower weight advantages, very good adhesion with different plastic material, excellent compression set, no follow up with melamine foam, excellent surface quality, and can be custom engineered.
In addition, the breakthrough compounds bear the hallmark of KRAIBURG TPE’s high flow technology. This means long and thin flow paths are realizable with low cavity pressure of up to 50%. Furthermore - the encapsulation of laminated safety glass is also made possible. There is also a significant reduction of glass breakage, no tiger stripes or other surface defects and uniform gloss level of the part surface. For aesthetic objectives, customized colouring is available too. Applications include back window sealing lip, frame rear and rear quarter window, and many more.
