KraussMaffei delivers 100th machine to Turkey

KraussMaffei's Reaction Process Machinery division celebrated an export milestone with the sale of its 100th mixing and metering machine in Turkey. The "jubilee machine" is installed for Elele Döseme Sanayi ve Ticaret in Bursa. RIM-Star is KraussMaffei's range of polyurethane mixing and metering machines; the RIM-Star range supplies solutions for every type of production challenge. The modular engineering means that the machines can be flexibly configured for the best possible match to customer-and application-specific requirements. The machine supplied to Elele was a RIM-Star Compact 40/16. Together with the machine, Elele also installed a foam robot and an MK 12/18 ULP-2KVV-G mixing head with proportional technology. Elele is using the RIM-Star machine to produce seat squabs for automotive seating in its production plant in Bursa. Bursa, one of Turkey's major cities, is a centre of the country's automotive industry where many carmakers and international components suppliers operate production plants. Elele representatives completed acceptance tests on the new machine at the KraussMaffei plant in Munich last December.
