KraussMaffei demonstrates in Mexico its GX 900-8100, its latest injection moulding machine. At ExpoPlasticos in Guadalajara (March 25 to 28, 2014, hall 1, booth 600), the company shows how transport crates are efficiently made on a GX 900-8100 and how well the GX series performs in high-speed applications. KraussMaffei aims to use its high-quality product and technology portfolio to continue growing in Mexico.
The GX 900-8100 at ExpoPlasticos produces a collapsible transport crate with integrated hangers from PP with a shot weight of 400 g in a cycle time of approximately 10 seconds. The product is made as a free-falling part and carried out to the front end of the machine by a conveyor belt. The combination of the quickest and most efficient two-platen machine on the market, a proven plasticising unit, state-of-the-art drive technology, the GearX and GuideX innovations, and coordinated automation makes injection moulding orders more profitable for processors, according to KraussMaffei.
More than 100 machines from the GX series have been sold worldwide since its market launch in spring 2012. In autumn 2013, it was successfully expanded upwards to include two new clamping force categories (7500 kN and 9000 kN).
KraussMaffei has had a presence in Mexico since 1999 and is the leading machine manufacturer on the market with its extensive range of premium quality products. In order to be able to satisfy the increasing demand in numerous industries even better and faster, the KraussMaffei Group pooled the strengths and expertise of the KraussMaffei, KraussMaffei Berstorff and Netstal brands in Mexico under one organisational umbrella, a move which took effect on January 1, 2014. The repair and service offering for reaction process machinery customers has also been expanded.
